Volunteering
We base our work on volunteering. Our members form the core structure which shapes
our strategies, approaches and materialize our projects. Nowadays, we gather more than
250 volunteers of all origins, professions and ages: students and CEOs, artists and
journalists, sick people wanted to help their siblings and foreign interns (from Germany,
Canada, France...).
A volunteer is an official representative of CPAZ during his/her time of volunteering. As
such, volunteers have rights and duties. Since they are our base, they are the main actors
in the success of our mission. We built several teams, each working on a precise topic. The
team has a hierarchy and responsibilities. The possibilities are almost infinite: networking,
psychological assistance, health care, event organization, medias, lectures, administration,
human resources, policy recommendation to the government, academic research....
Becoming a volunteer is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a professional
experience. It is also a way to use one's experience in a field for the common good: most of
our members are workers using their skills to help us.
To join the team, the process follows a simple procedure. First, the application form must be filled and sent to us (via post, email or in person). The applicant
may give informations about his/her interest in volunteering, past experiences etc. We may
contact you and agree on a date for an interview. If the candidate is accepted, the new
volunteer will receive a card and a training. Professionals among our teams take care of the
training that leads to the obtaining of an official certificate.
